Latch fits extremely tightly over the bowl connector. I worry it will break the bowl eventually. It is supposed to work for my model.

Exact same lid as the original that came with my KitchenAid food processor model. The original lid I had broke when I dropped it on my kitchen floor. This new lid has broken in almost the same exact place somehow, without being dropped or hit. The plastic construction I fear is cheaply made with brittle plastic. Still usable with a crack and a small missing piece but I truly have no idea how this happened yet again. Wish KitchenAid would make more durable lids for this appliance given that it’s put on/off and removed often for cleaning. Virginia Service Supply shipped reasonably quickly.

This was an OEM lid so it fit perfectly. I am glad I kept the broken one I had because you need to uninstall the old gasket and reinstall on the new one. Had I not done that I would have had to order a new one of those as well.

I specified my new address. However, the item was shipped to my billing address which had not yet been changed to match new address. As a result my ex received my item. Now I am purchasing it from another source who will send it to the specified shipping address. Highly dissatisfied!
