Right part

The part provided was the correct part. However, a connecting wire (not part of my order) was damaged and needs replacing before I can actually test the parts function.

How does the electric wire disconnect from the igniter? And can only the post that the knob attaches to be purchased separately? The post broke.

The electric wire just unplugs from the igniter. The post is part of the igniter, it can't be purchased separately.
